For the price, these chains are great. I'm using them on a DR brush mower set up for snow plowing. I had to wrap several loops of 12 gage electrical wire (used the black strand on the outside and white facing the machine - for aesthetics) through the links on each side of the tire to keep the chains from twisting off the tires. Once I did that, they worked well and stayed snug to the tires (for two storms, so far). I would have tried a couple of pairs of the tire chain springs but it is impossible to determine from most of the ads what size tires they will fit on. I had the wire laying around so that fix cost me nothing!

Economy chains appear to be made in China. The first tire chains I could cut with wire cutters. This was my fault as the low priceshould have clued me in to their quality. The old adage (you get what you pay for) held true in this case. On a good note they were the correct size and they were shipped in a timely manner. Lesson learned and will not be repeated.
