If you have a trailer, you need a spare. First go buy a spare, then figure out where your going to store it on your trip. I used this simple carrier to store the spare under the trailer. Hung the U-bolt straight down from a frame rail. You could also drill a couple of holes in the trailer deck and hang it where ever you wish. A little work to get the spare up under there, but it's out of the way and I have peace of mind. Make sure you have a jack and a lug wrench or socket also. Don't let a flat ruin your trip.
