Well made, solid aluminum with a gasket on the inside to form a seal. Feels heavier than my OEM ones but I doubt it's enough to affect anything. Only thing is it does not look like the image Amazon currently has up for it. The pattern is crisscross instead of straight, and the top isn't domed but instead has a "nipple" on it. Search for the part number on Dorman's website for an accurate picture. The difference means that I'll have to replace all of my caps instead of just the one the mechanic lost, but since it comes in a pack of 50 it's not an issue and I still have plenty for future loses.

These are much better than the old standard plastic Valve Caps. There are higher quality, and better looking Valve Caps out there, but it would be hard to get better ones than this at this price.
