I bought this to put on my boat trailer just to make things a little more difficult to steal and it does a good job of doing this. The construction of this boot is not as good as some of the others I've seen that are in the $400 to $500 range but it's still good. It's made of somewhat thin sheet metal steel but it will still present a challenge to take off and it "looks" identical to the more expensive boots. Overall, for it's price, I think it's a good buy and will definitely make a thief think twice about having to tackle on a boot before stealing whatever you decide to put it on.
