Eagle One 1020626 All Wheel & Tire Cleaner

  • safe for all types of metal hubcaps and steel or aluminum alloy wheels.
  • Wheel manufacturer recommended
  • Spray on, hose off
  • Safely removes brake dust from both wheels and tires
  • This item is not for sale in Catalina Island

Just to start off.. Of course your going to have to use a sponge or a detail wand to get it the way you want. Spray on dry wheels, let it soak for 30 sec, take a moist sponge and use the product you sprayed on the wheel to wash it then hose off. As soon as you spray on the wheels and especially the tires, the brown brake dust melts right off. It takes work to make progress. Also if taking a sponge to clean your wheels really disappoints you then you probably shouldn't waste your time cleaning your car in the first place.

After talking with a sales associate at our local A*v**ce Auto Parts store who recommended this product, I purchased it with some reservations. Although I felt he normally gave good recommendations because I had seen his car parked outside the store and it always looked great. I had previously used auto wash concentrate with a wheel brush (I had also tried a special brush that fit in my cordless drill) and had managed to get my tires and wheels reasonably clean with a great amount of sweat and elbow grease. With my prior experience and methods in mind I thought there had to be a better way to get the job done. Well, my friend behind the auto parts store had given me good advice - this stuff works. Yes, I did have to use a brush, the Carrand 94039 Long Bumper and Wheel Brush with 20" Over Molded Grip Handle works great, but I did not have to do heavy scrubbing as I had with regular car wash concentrate. I sprayed A2Z on the tire and wheel, waited 30 seconds per the instructions, lightly brushed the wheel and tire to evenly distribute the cleaner, rinsed and admired my clean tire and wheel. My pickup truck has white - letter tires and it made the letters snow white. Frankly, I was very surprised at the great results!

As one reviewer said, the nozzle is a little tricky to turn to spray (I agree that a finer spray would be better), but after depressing a small tab on top of the nozzle it easily turned to spray from off. Several reviewers commented about having to use a brush. Yes, I also used a brush, but it was no great effort and the soft bristles of the Carrand 94039 brush worked better than a stiff bristle brush.

Conclusion: This is a great product that requires minimum effort to clean your tires and make your wheels sparkle. The next time my pickup tires\wheels are really grubby I will take before, during and after pictures and post them with this review.
