- They are fully adjustable
- 6 - 30 psi pressure range

I love these little babies! And so will you, if you need to "air-down" your tires for driving on the beach or soft sand. , then these beauties are a must have. In the old days, I used to have to let air out of each tire, one by one, by hand and it took forever-I hated it. Now, I just screw one on each tire and wait a couple of minutes and I am done. I was at the beach last Sunday and I saw the other poor folks airing-down old school style while I used these little babies for the first time. I felt kind'a guilty for a moment, but then I was done and on my way.
The key feature to these units is that you can set them to any pressure that you will be using. What was recommended to me was to calibrate each deflator in the driveway using the spare, a compressor and a quality handheld tire pressure gauge. My spare is mounted on the rear door so it was real easy.
Deflate the spare to the desired pressure, I use 15-16 lbs., checking with a quality handheld tire pressure gauge. Once the pressure is where you want it, then take one of the deflators and screw the retention nut all the way down so it is out of the way and then screw the unit on the tire stem. Turn the set nut fitting until air starts escaping and then quickly screw the set nut until air stops escaping. (You may need to pull out on the stem of the deflator to get it going). Then tighten the retention nut against the set nut fitting so that the position is locked on the unit. Remove the deflator and check the pressure again to make sure that it did not change and you are set.
Test it by adding a few lbs. back into the tire and screwing the deflator back on. (You may need to pull out on the stem of the deflator to get it going). Once air stops escaping, take it off and check the pressure. Tweak if necessary, if not then repeat the process for the other 3 deflators and you are all set. It is a good idea to then put them on all 4 tires for an actual test and then check each tire with handheld tire gauge in the driveway.
I skipped this step and I had to do some tweaking at the beach. Oh well...
