I don't usually leave reviews on this type of item... when it comes to car stuff, most of what I buy just plain works and I don't really care enough to write up reviews on every little thing.

But... this stuff is AWFUL. I've been routinely buying tire shine products ever since I got my first car at 15 - I just like the finishing touch of a shiny tire after I wash my cars. :) I've tried just about every product they have on the shelf at Walmart or Target, and they all pretty much work the same (which is to say, satisfactorily).

Tried this stuff this summer - I had never seen this particular one at the store before, and I've had good experience with Turtle Wax brand products in the past. Holy crap, it doesn't work at ALL. It applies well enough, but after it dries, the tire is a uniform matte. Slightly cleaner than before applying, but definitely not SHINY... which is sad, as the title of this product is "foam 'n shine". I've never had a tire shine product NOT work quite as spectacularly as this one does. Shame on you, Turtle Wax!

Save yourself the extra buck or so this costs over the others. It's not worth it.

ETA: I posted a photo of how terrible this stuff is so I can stop getting silly comments on this review defending Turtle Wax's honor. And now it's in the trash. Let's never fight again, Armor All!

I've used this and other wheel dressings for a while and when making a decision on whether or not you want to buy this one, you need to take a few things into consideration. First and foremost...it is a spray foam. One person stated in his review that it's the 'lazy man's' method of dressing a tire, and he is right. It's very easy to apply..just spray on and walk away. Secondly it's fast one doesn't have to spend 20 minutes on each tire to get the job done...in 5 minutes all the tires can be dressed. The drawbacks are several however. You need to keep a towel handy while applying this product as it does produce a lot of overspray. You need to allow the tires to dry completely before driving. Lastly while it does shine the tires pretty good (for an inexpensive spray) the residue that remains on the tire attracts road grime and dust like a magnet. If you're going to use this product on a regular basis, I highly recommend using a high quality wheel and tire cleaner every time you wash your vehicle. *Final note: one can get this at Walmart & Target often on sale for as little as $2.99-$3.99.
