First off, I want to state these do stabilize our 30 ft. travel trailer while it's parked. I would not have guessed they would make that much difference, but they do. The downside of these units is they are poorly constructed. The locking arm pivots on the threads of a screw that keeps coming loose and one half of the scissors mechanism that expands the shoes is too weak and even if though adjusted per instructions has bent a couple of times. Should have sent back, but the tinkerer in me decided to weld in a stiffener. If you don't have the ability to straighten them, I'd buy something else.

These wheel chocks work great. The price was right (for a set of 2) at about $65, they are easy to use and very effective. I tried them on my 24ft 5th wheel and they hold it in place very well (even with the tow vehicle giving a slight tug). Once the initial adjustment is done prior to installation, the install is a snap. Very little effort needed. They are compact compaired to others on the market. Like another reviewer mentioned, watch your fingers.......but if you use the built-in handles, you should be fine. I'm a happy camper.
