Fairly nice finish and precision, although the center cap is cheap-feeling chromed plastic. Paired with the BF Goodrich Eagle GT, these wheels balanced up nicely.
I fitted these (with the BFG Eagle GT 205/60R15) to a 1979 TVR 3000S, although this required adjusting the front hinge point for the bonnet, cutting down the protruding bolt on the aft side of the upper ball joint, and fitting a 1/8" spacer on the wheel mounting surface. (Even with these changes, at full lock, there is a small amount of rubbing between the tire and upper control arm.) I selected these wheels partly because they bear a resemblance to the Wolfrace slot-mags fitted to M-series TVRs in the 1970s.
It is disappointing to see an old US brand such as American Racing move their manufacturing offshore to China. Had I known in advance about the wheels' country of origin, I would not have made the purchase.
