I decided to take a chance on the reviews on tirepros.com and bought these tires through Amazon because they offered free (!) shipping. I was reticent to buy them because a) I usually buy OEM tires for my cars and b) I never have tried Continentals on a car. I had my local mechanic install these tires. He also had no experience with Continentals. Maybe this is the reason that I had to bring the car back a second time for adjusting the alignment?
There is no comparison between these tires and the Michellins, that I previously had on my 2009 Honda Accord, in terms of road noise. The Michellins reflected all road noise from grooved/rough pavement into the cabin. These tires are silent just like the customer/professional reviews compiled on tirepros.com (if you can't tell tirepros.com is a really good website for reviewing car parts). On top of all of that they were cheaper than the Michellins. The Michellins lasted 75K while these have a 40K warranty which I understand is unique for these type of tires (ultra high performance).
These are, without a doubt, the BEST ALL SEASON HIGH PERFORMANCE tires I have ever experienced in my life (60+ years) and I've been an early adopter of high performance/radial tires since back in the 1960s!
