I finally needed to change the tires on my first bike and i consulted a couple of more experienced friends about tire changes and i got mixed opinion on whether or not it was possible. i looked on youtube for a how to video, and i found two good videos and they both made it look much easier than it actually is. i attempted it and after four or five skinned knuckles and lots of sweat and swear words, i decided to look up a more realistic video. i found one where the tech used the tire tamer and he said it was his favorite tool. i was apprehensive to buy because of the price, but i'm really glad i did. if you couple this purchase with a bead buddy and two 18" tire irons you'll make this job at least 50% easier.
