No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought 2 sets of Michelin tires. The 1st set were rated for 40,000 tread life I got 21,000 miles then had to replace. 2nd set were the Energy tires rated at 60,000 miles I got 18,000 then had to replace. You pay more for Michelin and their quality and it isn't there. I called Michelin and told them my concerns and they did not care I had to replace my tires every year and half. All they could say was that they were sorry and gave me 67% off a new set of their tires! Why would I want more problems and who wants to pay $350 every 18,000 miles for new tires? That's what i paid even with a 67% discount. I would stay away, you can buy tires for 1/2 price of these Michelin's and get more tread life out of them. I'd stay away, buyer beware."

There was nothing wrong and nothing in red. I say why would you buy a tire from a company that won't even let you post one bad experience on their site? What are they scared of? Aren't they the best in the business? They should address these head on, not hide! I called them about their tires and they said they were sorry that I had to buy another set of tires 18,000 miles into their life a second time and that they would recommend GoodYear. They don't care and their product is junk, and WAY overpriced, not to mention it is a French company!!! Do not buy!

I purchased my Tires from Amazon LLC for my 2007 Torrent. They are great tires in all types of weather and quiet with regard to road noise. I recommend these Michelin tires with out reservation. My only complaint is that they are no longer available from Amazon LLC but from one of their suppliers. The new price from this supplier is far more expensive than one can purchase these excellent tires locally. Lets hope Amazon will again stock these tires.
