This tire is amazing! Sure,it is more expensive than most light truck tires on the market,like the saying goes...you get what you pay for! I have a 2002 DODGE RAM 2500 4X4,a notorious vehicle for tearing up lesser quality tires due to the weight of the heavy axles/load placed on them even when vehicle is unloaded. I have about 8,000mi on my set and they show no wear,I rotated them at 5,000 mi. First thing I noticed about these tires is how quiet they are. For such an agressive looking M/T tire,they are not any louder than the A/T tires I had on it when I first bought my truck. They handle GREAT on the street wet or dry. Trails have a "smoother" feel to them,and Georgia's "red clay/mud" is no problemo. When there is a load on these tires,towing a loaded trailer and such..very well behaved tires!I personally don't believe there is a better 10ply true "all purpose" tire at any price that beats this one,period. It has great looks,high load rating,smooth quiet tire on/off road and a tire that has great traction in Georgia mudd and North Carolina Smokey Mountain snow! Do you need a great all round tire?...This is it!
