Some churlish ignoramus had deliberately punched a small hole in our original tire cover that we got when the Hummer was purchased in 2009. This replacement was an exact duplicate except for the lettering. The original lettering was painted on with clear coat over it. This lettering was an applique on top of the painted surface. Still looks good and will serve the purpose. Not sure how it will hold up to car washings etc. We will not be happy if its starts to chip off, but at this point in time we are pleased with it.

Caution: These are not "flat" colors, they are "glossy".I originally ordered the black "Color Matched" thinking that it was a "flat black" for my Boulder Gray Metallic H3. I was looking to match the cover with the black plastic trim rather than the paint. The tire cover I received was a high gloss black. While it was very sharp in appearance it just didn't match well on my vehicle. This was a combination of my mistake and the black image description being a little misleading (appeared as flat black). Within a few hours of filling out an RMA request I was contacted by Optimum Accessories. The representative was very friendly and recommended the alternative Hard Black Textured Plastic Face. I shipped the original tire cover to the Optimum Accessories, who in turn refunded the difference in cost and sent me the alternative model. It was exactly what I was looking for. A great looking tire cover for my H3 (matches the black plastic trim perfectly). Having seen firsthand the "color matched" style, I would also recommend it, if that is what you are looking for. I was impressed with the sellers courtesy and quick turn around with the replacement.
