My wife and I do art shows all over the country putting 25K a year on our GMC2500HD, We have gone back and forth with different manufactures tires and none are the tire the Michelin tire has been. Great ride, safe stopping. A truly great American product. Yes they are expensive, but you pay and get what you pay for. Great product Michelin.

I'm a older guy & into cars for many years. For the past 35, we've been driving BMW's, Lexus, Land Rover & Dodge & Chevy 3/4ton trucks. We tow a 7,500lb. travel trailer about 4,000mi. per year, out of a total of about 18,000 mi. per year. We live on a mountain side in the Rockies, with plenty of dirt roads, snow, etc. We've utilized Michelin tires for many, many years. The LTX M/S2 tires are perfect for our truck uses, although for really deep snow, they're not the best tread design. Best get a pure snow tire rather than this one. I'm buying a new set today, however. We usually get about 40k miles wear (if you keep them balanced/aligned) and have almost never had a flat or road hazard failure! If I remember correctly, perhaps 2 flats (valve stems)& one road hazard incident(an old broken spark plug did in one tire). This covers about 750,000 total miles, for us, always having two vehicles. With this kind of record, can you blame me for not purchasing another brand?
