they do the job they were made for and do not leak. i actually use these to pressurize containers with co2 to provide carbonation where the liquid does not contact them. however,since they are chromed they do not pose a health risk even if they came into contact with the liquid. they are reliable and do not cause a waste of expensive food grade gasses.
