I ordered these wheels to replace the wheels on my Scotts (Murray) mower, and they were an identical replacement. Same size, color, and design. These wheels are plastic, as most wheels are nowadays, just like the originals. The drive teeth were worn out on the ones I had, which was probably my fault, since I mow some pretty rough terrain with it, but they COULD use a steel insert to make them more durable. They would cost more of course, and then the tread would wear out before the gears ... so I guess it's an acceptable trade off. Now all I have to do is fix all the stupid control levers, which are also made of plastic, and are constantly breaking. Argh ...
