I own an 06 Dodge Ram 1500. The tires on the truck were wearing thin, it was time to replace them. After a week of research and a conversation with a family member who works in the tire industry, I settled on these tires. My main concern was wet traction because the tires I had on the truck frequently broke traction while stopping and starting on wet pavement. I'm not an aggressive driver so it worried me even more. These tires, thus far, have been the solution. It hasn't rained since I equipped them but I've hit several wet spots. After reading other reviews and being able to see the tread depth first hand, I doubt I'll have the same problem again. There are also spots in my weekly driving routine where the old tires broke traction on dry pavement but these tires won't. These are very meaty, sturdy tires and they look great. They compliment the truck very nicely. And to top it off I couldn't beat the price. I priced these exact same tires at a local tire shop and they wanted $229 per tire. They quoted me $1200 for 4 tires mounted and balanced. I bought a set of these for $700 and got them mounted and balanced for an additional $100. The local Sears wanted $186, so I was still able to beat them by $10 per tire. There were other seller outside of Amazon that sold these tires for cheaper, but they got horrible reviews, after the savings I got, I'd pay $20 more to get them from a reputable seller. Besides, after you throw in free shipping for being a Prime member, I couldn't beat the deal.
The only thing I would change is the width of the tire. Like I said, these are very sturdy tires, but just for personal aesthetics I'd like the tires to be 2 inches wider...
