I ordered this cover for the back tire on my Honda CRV. The original cover manufactured by Honda has elastic to hold it in place and therefore fits like a glove. This one appears to be both hand-made and well-made. The material is a much stronger but also it's a stiffer fabric than the original factory cover. It stays on because it is a tighter fit which means it takes a lot of work to get it on comparatively-- lots of tugging pulling pushing to get it situated. I do not like the draw-string that is supposed to keep the cover in place. If the cover wasn't such a thick fabric it would be easier to pull the draw-string tight... not that it matters ultimately because the tight fit of the cover would probably keep it on the tire even without the draw-string so you don't really need it. Also the string is so short... its basically the same size as the cover so I had to tie it in a square knot because there wasn't enough of it to tie anything else which left only an inch of cord on either side of the knot. I don't know why they were so chintzy with the cord. It's probably the least expensive feature of the cover so what's a few more inches of cord? The image is even more beautiful that the photo shows it to be. And it looks great on my blue Honda. But if I just wanted a tire cover and didn't care about making my vehicle somewhat unique... I'd have done better to get the factory one. It fits better and is easier to put on and off if I ever have to use the spare. If I'd known all this before I ordered I probably would have just left everything well enough alone and continued to use the factory cover. $60 is a lot to pay for it to take 10 minutes to put the cover on or off just to have a pretty picture on the back of the vehicle.
