If you are looking for a solid pair of mud flaps that are knock-offs of the real VW flaps, these are the ones to buy at a fraction of the cost. I put them on without even taking off the tires. When you buy these, purchase the "Kobalt 4-Piece 1/4-in Drive Phillips Driver Socket Set". Use the socket adapter with a small ratchet and you are good to go. The Kobalt Driver Set you can buy for around $5.00 and the ratchet if you do not have one, you can buy a pretty good one for around $7.00 to $12.00.
