While attempting to loosen the wheel locks on my 2003 Lexus RX300 I chipped three of them rendering my wheel lock key useless. I bought this product having read about the proper technique to extract stripped wheel locks.
I was able to get the broken wheel locks off but destroyed the tool in the process. At first, I used the tool as intended but the wheel locks on my car are extremely hard so the teeth on the tool were stripped completely down in the process. Dejected, I hammered the section that was one size smaller than the lock and that did the trick. Took quite a bit of hammering. By the time I did this for the third lock, the tool was almost done for.
If you need this tool to be reusable, don't get it. If you need it to remove one or two locks and don't mind fiddling around with it, you could get it to work. Heck, it's not that expensive. Beats the price any wheel shop will charge you.
