According to the other reviewer, these valve covers are made of plastic. That solves a problem for me and I'll buy them. Recent Porsches have TPMS, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Steel valve caps interfere with transmissions from the pressure sensor in the wheel, so the owner's manual warns explicitly against their use. Plastic caps will do just fine.
I may come back and change my review to a five or a three after I use them for a while, but being made of plastic is not a deficiency, it's the only kind we can use on our cars.

I bought this set of valve caps a couple of days ago and I was a little worried about the negative review of another person. When I received them I noticed that the quality and finish was outstanding. The chrome finish is shiny and the details of the Porsche crest are well defined. The glass dome type finish on the top of the cap is an excellent plus since you can notice the shiny colors of the Porsche symbol just by standing in front of the car. I am not worried about them being plastic because once installed they looked great on the car.
