READ BELOW: I added a section after a few months of useThese things are decent for roughly $20 but I honestly say they're not worth the hassle.
First off, they ship from Hong Kong just like a lot of these cheap knock-off parts. There was no packaging, Just a box that they threw them into with some random disgusting rusty Philips screws that were in a little bag.
They're manufactured very poorly with rubber slivers along the edges where they must have stamped them from but didn't bother cleaning them up.
They wreak of death, which I've found a lot of plastic does, but this material is just plain weird.
Front ones fit okay, didn't have to modify anything. Rear ones didn't fit. The holes for the wheel well screws to go through are way off. So, I had to cut new holes, and on top of that, they're not shaped the right way for that part of the car so they have to be bent to get them on properly. The plastic like material used for these is extremely brittle and broke when I was screwing one of them in.
Mud gaurds should be more of a malleable rubber that's very ruggade, but these things are more of a hard plastic that breaks with too much bend.
I say, find some mud flaps for your saucy Jetta somewhere else. Preferably the ones that come straight from VW.
EDIT:
If I could give these a 0/5 I would. Turns out this type of plastic gets even more brittle in the cold. I'm in Michigan and it dosen't get too cold but it was close to 0 recently and I went to gently knock some snow off of the mud flaps and a couple of them broke right off! Quite terrible. I can't believe I wasted my money on these. Spend $40 more and get a full VW set that are actually designed for your car and work very well.
