As stated in the other review, the quality is a bit suspect. I think they have upgraded the alligator clips however because the ones that came on mine are quite sturdy and fully covered by insulation. However, the wiring and switch are a bit suspect. Mine turns on but does not turn off. The electric box has to be "tapped" to get it to turn off. The box also smoked a bit. I opened up the power supply box and the wiring was chaffed with cold solders galore. After some re-wiring, it still requires a slight tap to shut it off (the relay is sticky). Will probably have to come up with a better power solution.
That said, this thing is FAST. The only way to come close to this kind of speed is to fork up $300 for a Viar unit. The actual compressor itself seems pretty solid. So if you need a lot of air, and have a knack for making things work, this is for you.
I returned it immediately, and would not advise anyone to waste their money on this item.
This is the poorest quality product that I have ever gotten from Amazon.com, and if I receive anything in the future that falls into this grade of JUNK, I will find other merchants to buy from.
