I bought this tire because it was the cheapest tire I could get in this size that wasn't a no-name item (and the no-name's were close in price). Traction is okay...beter than the worn out tires it replaced, but I still get some slip on hard turns (60" Exmark Zero-Turn). If I used my mower commercially I would probably select a different tire, but since it is for home use this tire gets the job done. If it was priced any higher the rating would have been lower.

I bought the Carlisle 4 ply, 23X10.50-12' tires. The 20 lb. 4 ply tires may have a slightly firmer ride than the 10 lb. 2 ply I replaced. The tires appear durable and were a nice upgrade. One of my original 2 ply, 10 pounders kept leaking, even after patching it. . .so I gave up and decided to upgrade them both to these new 4 plys. Amazon's price (right now about $90) is good for this particular tire.
