I used this patch kit to repair a worn-out, ripped section of a winter floor mat for my car. I looked at several patch kits on Amazon and this was the only one that had a patch with large enough dimensions to cover the section I needed to repair. But let it be known that the dimensions in the description are actually measured from the far corners of the patch, so it is really not as big as you might think. It worked for my repair, but I had to pay closer attention to how I positioned it over the rip in my floormat.
Overall, it is a thick, heavy-duty patch and has held up for what I needed it for. Just make sure you are mindful of the dimensions if you've got a large section you need to patch.
