I've had two sets of these now (i lost one, my fault, bent a rim! ) and i liked them enough to purchase the second set. They can really add a rad look to your car without spending hundreds of dollars on new rims. In fact, most people have assumed i have rims, i even had a friend ask if i was selling my old rims. I have the retainer set toward the inside all the way around (for larger rims) and they fit nice + tight. They aren't perfect, prob stick out a 1/3 to 1/4" or so but they are flat and don't have the goofy rounded shape some wheel covers do. The only issue i've had is that the fake chrome bolts will get blown off at the car wash. I lost about 5 of them on the original set i had. If you pull them off with pliers (they come off easily) then reglue them it fixes the issue. I'm happy now having a few extras from my old set, even have one for my full size spare! If you don't want to spend big money on rims or want something to use before you can afford them, i'd definitely recommend these, best covers i've found and can't go wrong for the price!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago for my 1995 Toyota Camry and I have to honestly say for the price I am pretty happy with my purchase. My Toyota Camry has 5% tinted windows all around so these black wheel covers match very well with my car. I uploaded a pic of the car and a close up of the black wheel cover so you all can see.
I hope you find this review helpful if you looked at the pics.
While these are not rims they are just black wheel covers for you hubcaps they still look really nice.
They are like a solid black color and not those cheap glossy black wheel covers that you might find a place like autozone, pepboys or walmart.
Alot of people that I've talked to they thought these were black rims until I brought them closer to the car and pointed to the actual wheel hubcap. Then I let them give it a slight kick to prove these are just wheel covers.
Alot of people were very surprised that they look like real black rims.
So far its been a couple of weeks and I've been driving back and fourth on the multiple freeways and the black wheel covers are still on perfectly.
I have it on the tightest setting for my 14 inch tires.
Like other reviewers said there is a metal retaining ring which is a gold/silver color which stands out when you put the wheel cover on.
I really wish they would have given us a black metal retaining ring to match with the black wheel cover.
It stands out if you are looking close up at the wheel covers. Lucky I have 2 cans of black spray paint and I will eventually spray paint them black when I get some extra time.
These wheel covers were easy to put on once you get the hang of it.
I just pulled out my old hubcaps with my hands and then I put these black wheel covers on.
Basically after you put on your first wheel cover then the rest become easy to put on.
You just have to know how to force it in properly.
And for all the people complaining about the ring not having a gap for the tire valve, you are right the metal ring does not have a gap but the actual wheel cover it self does. Also from my testing I found that you don't have to insert the tire valve in between the metal ring and the wheel cover. The metal ring is suppose to be on the outside of the wheel cover.
But yeah overall I am very happy with the black wheel covers and would recommend them to people who don't feel like spending alot of money for black rims.
They are worth it for the low price and savings over real rims.
I hope my review was helpful to you all and that you checked out the picks of my 1995 Toyota Camry with 5% tint all around and the black wheel covers on it.
Thanks.
