I use this for my bike and it works well. It took me a while to figure out why the bar barely moved up when I inserted this into the valve cap of my bike tubes.I inflated the tube until it was very firm, and then tried again. This time, it worked. There's also a little thing on the reverse side if you need to hold the valve down to remove air. I used it to make minor adjustments when I overinflated my tubes a little. When you use it correctly, there should hardly be any air coming out and the gauge should just pop out in one shot.

This was broken when I opened it. First it was stuck and wouldn't read at all, then when I freed it up it would max out, >120psi, when I put it on a car tire that was about 30lbs. It went straight into the trash. Don't waste a dime on these.
