I have owned many portable air compressors over the years and this is the best one by far. I saw it demonstrated at the Pismo Beach Car Show during fathers day weekend. The guys in the Slime booth told me it would be available "any day now" at several local auto parts stores. I was too anxious to wait so I looked it up on Amazon and ordered it a couple of days after returning home. The twin piston setup pushes a lot more air than the single cylinders I have owned. Re-inflation time from 20 lbs to 35 lbs on my Jeep after driving around in the dunes was cut to less than half the time of my previous compressor. The unit is well built with several attachments and plenty of hose and power cord length. The carry case is very sturdy. It connects directly to the battery terminals with heavy duty insulated alligator clips. The power wire is also heavy duty, much larger than the thin wire used to run off of the 12v power supply in the dash on my previous compressor. If you are not ready to install an "onboard" system like Viair or ARB ($$$$), this compressor is the best portable unit I have come across and i have researched them all. I would not hesitate to recommend this to my friends. A quality unit all around.
