- 1 pc. Heavy duty aluminum T-handle insert tool
- 1 pc. Heavy duty aluminum T-handle spiral probe cement tool
- 2 pc. hex key Replacement tool
- 30 pc. 4" String

I bought this because I wanted the tools in a case. The case latch broke the first time I opened it. The tools are very sturdy, but the piece count includes every bit of plug material...
The tools are well made. They seem very durable and strong. I put a bit of tension on the set screws that hold the bit or tool end into place and it held nicely without stripping out. The bits are about an inch longer then the plastic set that I bought a while back, so no need to worry about them being too short. The set comes with 2 allen wrenches for changing out the tool end/bits. There is a place to hold a replacement piece for the tool, but there is none included. They are made well enough that you should not need to replace it. There is enough room on the inside where the plugs go that you can put a pair of pliers in it so you always have a pair with the set. The case is a blow molded case that just snaps together. Should hold up fine for regular use, but will not hold up under a lot of abuse. If anything, my complaints about the kit would be that first, they should have made the handles with some kind of grip. maybe something like a diamond pattern for extra traction in your hand. If you have clean dry hands, then there should not be much of any problem, but if your hands a just a little slick, from something like being wet or greasy, then the handles can slide/twist a bit. The part that goes into your hand is just smooth chrome plated metal. The plugs seem of OK quality, meaning that they should work to fix the hole, but are in no way of high quality. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being high quality, I would give the plugs a 4 maybe 5. On a positive note, if you are buying this set, you are probably looking for a good quality tool that will last and this set has that. plugs are cheap so not a big deal to replace those.
A couple things to note. Everything in the kit is made in china so if you are looking for American made, look at another kit. The reamer tool is a square rod twisted into a spiral. This is a good thing. One thing that people do not realize is that the main purpose of the reamer tool is to make sure that the hole is open enough to put the plug in. You do not want, nor need to ream it back and forth like crazy. Remember, the hole does need to be clean for the plugs to hold, but the tire is made up of steel wires, which makes up the belt of the tire. If you ream a tire too much with a reamer tool that is too rigid, you can cut/break those metal cords which may or can cause a broken belt in the tire which ruins the tire. Twisted metal like the reamer tool in this kit pushes the cords to the side which makes it less likely to brake the cords. That is a good thing.
Overall, yes I would recommend the tools in the kit, but I would not recommend the plugs.
