These valve caps seem to be holding up very well so far on my wife's SUV. I have not seen them fade but we've had them for over a month. They are well made and a very good replacement for the the plastic ones that come on the car. (You would think that a 48k SUV would have metal valve caps, but you would be wrong. Actually both the Nissan Armada (48k) and my Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 (45k) had the exact same plastic valve caps.)I also purchased the black aluminum valve caps version for my truck. My wife and I are very pleased with this rather low cost accessories.
I highly recommend them.
