Milton S693 Dual Head Straight Foot Air Chuck

Milton recommends this 693 air chuck be used with an inflator gauge, as it is designed to hold onto a valve stem. Used with a hose and no means of air pressure regulation could result in destructive over-inflation of a tire.

This particular air chuck also can often reach through the valve stem access hole in a wheel-cover, to a shorter valve stem hidden there, avoiding the need to remove the hub-cap/wheel-cover.

That it will also hold onto a valve stem is also a nice feature for airing tires, but the threads will eventually wear to the point the tool must be held in place.

I personally like the S693 air chuck for use with small portable air tanks having a shutoff valve and gauge in the line. But, it also works nicely if installed to any of the Milton 500 Series inflation gauges with a longer hose.

I purchased the Milton S693 dual head straight foot air chuck for it's reasonable price and it's design that allowed access to a deeply recessed air inlet.I have been pleased with other Milton products and was not disappointed with it's design or quality. Price was important since it would get limited use,but quality was important because when used, it would be used at a remote location and needed to work.
