I have worked in a tire shop changing tractor trailer tires, farm tractor tires, and regular tires so I have some experience with inflation devices.
Pros: It has a good gauge protector // The gauge seems to be fairly accurate against several other devices I use.
Cons: This is obviously a knock off and is light duty metal. // Shipping was terrible. Of all the products I have purchased over the last 20 years from Amazon I have had only two items ship as slowly as this one. The old proverb about sending it on a slow boat from China really holds true in this case. // I do not have any air couplers that resemble the one that comes on this device. It has been a while since I worked in the tire shop but have had experience with other pneumatics as near as two years ago in two different shops. Removing this I found the threads to be "about" a .9 metric or a 27 TPI. The hole diameter was greater than an eighth pipe and less than a quarter pipe. Actually looked like straight threads so be sure to match your equipment up with the male connector shown because there isn't much metal in the handle to change sizing. // The valve lock on the end is ok but a little deep so grabbing threads on your valve stem may be a bit difficult meaning that you may have to hold the device onto the valve stem in order to get air into the system or even check the pressure. // Lastly, though the gauge is accurate at 220 PSI I hope you are working on high pressure truck tires because gauges are designed to be used around mid scale. Thus for most tires in your residential garage you would be better off with something just over your compressor pressure to work with normal 30 to 60 PSI measurements. Therefore, generally speaking, look for a gun with a gauge under 160 PSI but above about 120 PSI - good luck on the lower value. Might be time to look into a digital gauge.
All in all I'm pretty disappointed but, will make it work until it fails.
