These tires are great. I ordered these tires up, and saved at least 25% off of the discounted prices at the national tire places. I received free shipping, also great - this saved me $50. I was expecting a 2 week shipping time frame, but received the tires in a little over a week from when I ordered them.
I did do diligence and selected this particular tire for it's combination of handling and quiet on the roads (and price,of course). The tires themselves handle well - you feel like the car is more in control, side-to-side. I feel more in control than when I had the Hankook set (although Hankook makes a pretty good tire.) They are real quiet going down the road, although my 2003 Sonata is probably in the middle of the pack as far as road noise goes.
I have read that on some cars these tires don't last as long as advertised. But since I'm going to do a struts replacement/alignment soon on the Sonata (as part of regular maintenance) that probably won't be an issue. I live and work in Michigan though; in western Michigan, the roads are pretty bad, but I go into Detroit twice a week and since the state money flows to Detroit the roads aren't so bad there. In my small town, even the road repairs make me feel like it would be better if they just ripped up the tarmac and reverted to gravel - it would be smoother.
One other thing - I was told by a friend that I should have the tire shop look at the manufacturer's production date for the tires, just to make sure I didn't receive a set that had set around in a warehouse for years, becoming old and air weathered. The tires I received were dated late November 2011 and I received them in early January 2012, so they were brand-new.
All said, excellent tires, excellent deal, and I will definitely be inclined to do this again!
I shop price and I shop service.
First they were very reasonably priced. So reasonably that their cost, shipping, and installation at my local service station was just shy of 100.00 less than the local dealers. I had them shipped to my installer. Talk about easy.
Tires are very quite and smooth riding. They took everything in stride. No hydro planing in heavy rain. Groved highways tracked straight and true. Little or no heat build up and very good to excellent dry road handling.
I liked them. I'd buy the again
