I'm not in the habit of writing reviews on something so basic, prosaic, and simple as a wheel chock, but when I found myself ordering a new one for my trailer and wouldn't even consider using anything other that the two Marsons that I already have, I decided that this is a product so well made, and of such high quality that it deserves a review -- and an excellent one at that.
I've had two of these on a trailer for five years, and am still impressed with the workmanship and materials -- they still look as good as the day that I installed them. Unlike some wheel chocks that 'grip' the front wheel and occasionally cause tire damage, I've never had a problem with these chocks. I've used this trailer to transport about thirty different kinds of motorcycles more that one hundred thousand miles; so many and so far, in fact, that I just replaced the deck of the trailer, and have repacked the wheel bearings three times. The trailer may look a little worse for wear, but the Marson chocks look terrific, and have performed flawlessly. I have no hesitation of recommending these chocks, and to say that anyone who thinks that American design, materials, and craftsmanship is a dying breed needs to go to Elkhart, Indiana, and look at Marson products.
